During 60s and 70s communism in Poland,
at a time when vinyl records were hard to get, sound postcards became popular. Sound postcards were usually made by tiny firms,
and the recording quality was low, but often they represented the only available possibility
of having access to hit songs from The West.
In the late 70s, the cards were replaced by cassette technology.

Our expanding collection will soon be archived on line, and turned into a book. It is also being exhibited at festivals and galleries. If you wish to donate cards, or host an exhibit, please contact us.
